| School Council
The Westfield School Council now has 30 members (a boy and a girl from every class). We meet once a week to discuss school matters and see how we can improve the experience of Westfield for pupils, staff and parents. We have a yearly charity that we raise money for, help organise events such as Cake Sales and MUFTI days and interview staff who are applying for jobs. Miss Jackson values our opinion and always wants to know what we think, not just about jobs, but all kinds of things, once every half term she comes in and answers questions for us. We love to grill people and find out what they know! We’ve met the Mayor, local MP Richard Fuller and also our Heads of Year. Every meeting we have is minuted and we have to feedback what we do to our class. Being part of the council at Westfield is challenging but also fun! |
